1. Data controller
The PATNUC Cyber app delivers the Training Programme on IT Security for Government Agencies — digital hygiene awareness for non-IT staff, owned by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MINPOSTEL) through PATNUC, in cooperation with the World Bank. Processing is carried out on the programme's behalf by ITS, the programme's consultant.
2. Data collected
- Identity and affiliation: full name, phone number, staff number, administration and region.
- Demographic data: sex and date of birth, collected for the programme's aggregate reporting (notably female participation, required by the funder).
- Training record: module enrolments and withdrawals, lessons viewed, progress, assessment answers and results, time spent on courses.
- Certificates: record of certificates issued.
- Technical data: device or platform used (mobile app or browser) and synchronisation timestamps, to monitor the service.
The app collects no location, no contacts, no photos and no advertising identifier, and uses no third-party advertising or tracking tools.
3. Purposes
This data is used to: give access to the training and your progress; issue the official end-of-training certificates; and produce the programme's monitoring statistics (participation, completion, results, demographic breakdown), aggregated for institutional reporting.
4. Recipients
Data is accessible to the programme managers (MINPOSTEL / PATNUC and ITS) and to the administration you belong to, for training-monitoring purposes. Reporting shared with programme partners, including the World Bank, is aggregated and cannot identify you. Data is never sold or transferred to commercial third parties.
5. Storage and security
The App works offline: your data is first stored on your device, then securely synced (HTTPS) to the server as soon as a connection is available. Reasonable measures protect the data against unauthorised access.
6. Retention
Data is kept for as long as necessary to monitor your training, then archived or deleted in accordance with applicable obligations.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data by contacting your administration or the address below.
